We use a two step method in creating the interior door purchase orders.
Step One – a “walk-thru” sheet lists every door by location, size, and swing. This worksheet is designed to be used after the framing is complete to help check for any changes made to rough openings due to mistakes or custom changes. No more block of 2x6 and a Magic Marker for writing the interior door order.
Step Two – when we have doubled checked the “walk-thru” sheet, we consolidate the units and create a order sheet. There is room for you to add your spec’s and notes for your supplier – get your competitive bids back quickly.
Our system allows us to easily create separate sheets when there are 8/0 doors down and 6/8 doors up.
